At Yerevan Gladzor University, the primary objective of internal quality assurance (IQA) is the development and promotion of an internal culture quality in alignment with European standards and guidelines. This process supports the fulfillment of the University’s mission in accordance with its strategic goals and objectives. Another key objective of internal quality assurance is to establish the foundation for external quality evaluations.
Internal Quality Assurance Objectives
The objectives of the MA defined at the University of Yerevan “Gladzor” determine the need to solve the following problems:
Develop and/or enhance policies and procedures aimed at the continuous improvement of educational quality at the University;
Design and enhance tools for the regular review and ongoing monitoring of professional educational programs (PEP) at YGU;
Establish foundations for the evaluation of professional educational programs;
Strengthen the University’s internal quality assurance unit;
Ensure the participation of both internal and external stakeholders in YGU’s internal quality assurance processes;
Establish mechanisms for the collection, processing, and analysis of data required for external quality evaluation;
Ensure the transparency and public accessibility of quality assurance processes;
Ensure the regular review and continuous enhancement of the internal quality assurance system.
