On October 30, 2026, the official inauguration ceremony of the Center for Iranian Studies and Geopolitical Analysis took place at Yerevan Gladzor University. Established at the initiative of the University's Chair of International Relations, the Center will operate within the Chair, aiming to promote Iranian studies, advance academic research, and strengthen educational, scientific, and cultural ties between Armenia and Iran.
Theresa Khechoyan, Vice-Rector for International Cooperation and Development at Yerevan Gladzor University, participated in the final conference of the Erasmus+ Capacity Building in Higher Education (CBHE) project EMPOWER (Enhancement of Entrepreneurship Skills among Women to Provide Gender Equality and Employability for Citizens of Uzbekistan), held in Tashkent on October 12–14, 2026, under the theme “Her Strength — Our Future.”
Within the framework of the European Union’s Erasmus+ Staff Mobility Programme, Professors Dariusz Kusz and Bożena Kusz from Rzeszów University of Technology, Poland, visited Yerevan Gladzor University. Atthe beginning of their visit, the professors were welcomed by Zhora Jhangiryan,Rector of Yerevan Gladzor University. The meeting highlighted the importance ofinternational academic cooperation, the exchange of expertise, and the strengthening of institutional partnerships between universities.
Yerevan Gladzor University has been ranked among the top 1,000 universities in Europe, according to the 2027 results of the UNIRANKS international university ranking system. With an overall score of 17.62, Yerevan Gladzor University ranks 837th in Europe.
On September 24, Yerevan Gladzor University hosted a roundtable discussion entitled “From Armenia’s Foreign Policy to Foreign Economic Policy: New Opportunities and Priorities,” initiated and organized by the Chair of International Relations.
On September 11, a roundtable discussion was held at the National Defence Research University of the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Armenia. The event was initiated by Narek Grigoryan, PhD in Political Science, Associate Professor, and Head of the Chair of International Relations at Yerevan Gladzor University. Students from different years of study participated in the event.

On July 31, Yerevan Gladzor University held a diploma awarding ceremony for its graduates, marking a memorable occasion filled with heartfelt moments, congratulations, and confidence in the future. The event commenced with an opening address by the Rector of the University, Doctor of Law, Professor Zhora Jhangiryan.
On May 15, in anticipation of Youth and Students’ Day in Armenia, Yerevan Gladzor University hosted the “Best Student 2026” Award Ceremony, organized at the initiative of Eliza Hovhannisyan, Head of the Career Centre, and A. Soghomonyan, Head of the Chair of Languages and Cross-Cultural Communication.
On May 20, the Faculty of General Economics of Yerevan Gladzor University organized a seminar entitled “Soft Skills: The Art of Working with People.” The guest speaker was Arman Tonikyan, Head of Marketing at Hayekonombank OJSC, PhD in Economics, and lecturer at Yerevan Gladzor University.
