The Postgraduate Department of Yerevan Gladzor University has been functioning since 2005. The Department was established on the basis of the 2005 decision of the Minister of Education and Science of the Republic of Armenia.
This decision granted YGU the right to implement professional programs of postgraduate higher education.
The Postgraduate Department operates in accordance with its own Charter.
The admission to postgraduate programs, as well as the admission procedure for PhD applicants to YGU is organized in accordance with the "Procedure for the admission and education of post-graduate, doctoral students, and applicant registration in the Republic of Armenia"
