Staff Members of Participate in International Staff Week at the University of Seville
Teresa Khechoyan, Vice-Rector for International Cooperation and Development, and Rima Aydinyan, Head of the Quality Assurance Center at Gladzor University of Yerevan, participated in the International Staff Week held at the University of Seville.
The event aimed to promote inter-university collaboration, facilitate the exchange of experience, and enhance the effectiveness of implementing international programs. It brought together 166 representatives from 36 countries, including vice-rectors, administrative, and academic staff from various universities.
The program featured roundtable discussions, visits to different faculties and departments of the University of Seville.
The event was inaugurated with welcoming remarks by the Director of the Secretariat for International Strategy and the Director for Mobility at the University of Seville. The history of the university and its key internationalization strategies were presented, with a particular emphasis on the importance of collaboration.
The discussions focused on: The international cooperation strategy of the University of Seville, New opportunities within Erasmus+ programs, Tools for organizing student and academic mobility, Opportunities for joint implementation of international projects, Possible ways to promote mobility and overcome related challenges for students and staff.
Participants visited various faculties, the university library, and the International Student Support Center.
During the visit, new opportunities for cooperation with several universities were identified, and agreements were reached to expand student mobility agreements.
Participation in the International Staff Week at the University of Seville was a valuable source of experience and an important platform for deepening international cooperation and introducing new ideas.
