On March 27, 2025, under the initiative of N. Grigoryan, PhD in Political Sciences, Associate Professor, the Head of the Chair of International Relations named after Hakob Hakobyan, YGU, a roundtable discussion was held on the topic “Concepts of State and Statehood in Contemporary International Relations.”

The participants of the event were 14 faculty members from the Chair of International Relations and General Jurisprudence at YGU, the organizing body of the event.

N. Grigoryan opened the session with a presentation on the development of theoretical and conceptual approaches to state and statehood in the context of contemporary international relations.

Each participant contributed their individual perspective on the issue, presenting their viewpoint and potential solutions aimed at addressing contemporary challenges.

The comprehensive nature of the topic highlights the importance of organizing such discussions on a regular basis. The workshop was concluded by Zh. Jhangiryan, Doctor of Laws, Professor, Rector of Yerevan Gladzor University.
